A beautiful pop moment for Le Weekend. Victoria Bergsman brings her exquisite new band to perform an exclusive set for the festival. Victoria is very particular about how and where her music is performed so Le Weekend is chuffed to have Taken By Trees on board this year.
Her album, Open Field, was one of last year’s best, subtle shades and slow-moving simple melody lines that seemed to become more complex with each listen, percussive shivers and understated piano making a perfect bed for Bergsman’s instantly recognisable aching vocals, all heartache and daydreams.
Beautiful indeed, and as robust as a summer sky. Taken By Trees feature guitar player, Andreas Soderstrom who also performs with Tape.
